KUALA LUMPUR - Deep Purple are set to rock Malaysia when they croon at the Genting Arena of Stars on May 16 as part of their Asia/Australia tour 2010.
The Brit rockstars’ first Malaysia visit saw them performing in Kuala Lumpur in 1982 and even this time around fans are expecting them to dish out hit numbers including Lazy, Black Night, Hush and Smoke on the Water.
The gig has been organised by ZI Production Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Resorts World Genting and Genting Worldcard, reports the Star Online.
Deep Purple was founded in 1968 and current band members include organ and keyboardist Don Airey, 61, vocalist Ian Gillan, 64, bassist Roger Glover, 64, guitarist Steve Morse, 55, and drummer Ian Paice, 61. (ANI)
